In my capacity as the marketing director at the Cornell Schwartz Center, I have the opportunity to read a lot of scripts — rarely do I LOL when I read them. The script for Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music had me hooting like an owl several times while I was reading it. Basically about a bunch of castaways in a little bar in Houston, Texas, this play is about real life love and lessons in an average (sort of) American town. The characters in this show are just the type of people you meet in Wal-Mart on a Friday night –original, wacky, likeable, not-so-likeable. I think you’ll like this show. Tickets are still available on a limited basis — two step on over to the Schwartz Center to get yours soon!
